Is fuel included in the rental price?

Fuel is not included in the rental price.

The boat is always delivered with a full tank, and you do not need to refuel it yourself.

At the end of the rental you have two simple options:

  1. We go together to the fuel station located just 2 minutes from our harbour, where you pay the fuel directly.
  2. If you prefer not to go to the fuel station, we check the fuel consumption on the boat computer, you pay the fuel in cash, and we refuel the boat ourselves.

This service is completely free, and the fuel price is exactly the same as at the fuel station.

Fuel consumption usually ranges between 30 and 80 liters for a full day, depending on distance, number of guests on board, speed and sea conditions.

  • refilling fuel and water

In the morning the boat will be clean and ready for you at the dock at your preferred time.

This service is completely free.

What is the difference between an inboard and an outboard engine?

The main difference is comfort and space on the boat.

Boats with an inboard engine offer a much larger and more comfortable rear area. Because the engine is inside the boat, the stern features a large sunbathing area and a spacious swimming platform where guests usually spend most of their time while anchored in a bay.

This makes it also easier to enter and exit the water, relax, shower on the platform, or simply enjoy the sea.

Inboard engines are also quieter and provide better stability while cruising, which makes the overall boating experience more comfortable.

For this reason, many guests prefer boats with inboard engines, as they provide more space, more comfort and a better experience at sea.

private tours
1. How long does the private tour last?

Our standard tours are approximately  4h for half day tours and 6h for full day tours.

This is only a guideline. The boat is reserved exclusively for you, so the duration is flexible and can be adjusted or extended depending on your wishes and pace.
In practice, most guests choose the 6-hour tour — it’s the perfect amount of time to explore the Rovinj archipelago, Lim Fjord and nearby coastal towns without rushing.

2. Can we customize the route?

Absolutely. Every tour is fully customizable.
We recommend the best spots based on your preferences — swimming, relaxing, snorkelling, cliff diving, sightseeing or visiting restaurants — and adapt the route to weather and sea conditions. At any moment, you decide how long you want to stay at each location and what you want to do.

3. Do we need to know where we want to go?

Not at all. Most guests don’t 🙂
Based on your preferences, we suggest hidden bays, islands, must-see locations and local restaurant spots to create the best possible experience. At any moment, you decide how long you want to stay at each location and what you want to do.

4. How many people can join the tour?

Private tours are designed for small groups to ensure comfort and a premium experience.
The exact number depends on the boat — we’ll recommend the best option based on your group size.

5. Is a skipper included?

Yes, all private tours include an experienced local skipper.
Your skipper is not just a driver — he is your local guide who knows the best spots, hidden gems and safe routes.

6. What is included in the price?

Included:
✔️ Private boat
✔️ Professional skipper
✔️ Fuel for standard routes

✔️ Drinks on board (water, soft drinks, beer – custom options available)
✔️ Local tips & recommendations

✔️ Pickup at your preferred location

7. When and how do we pay?

Payment is made on the boat, on the day of the tour.
No deposit required.
Quick and easy booking.

You can pay in cash, by credit/debit card (Visa, Mastercard, Maestro), or via bank transfer.

8. What if the weather is bad?

Your safety and experience come first.
If weather conditions are not suitable, we will offer:
✔️ Rescheduling
✔️ Alternative date
✔️ Or cancellation free of charge

9. Where does the tour start?

Arriving by car? We recommend starting from our base at Rovinj marina, where convenient parking is available.
Prefer a different location? No problem — we can arrange pickup at any location that suits you best or the nearest accessible point.

The exact meeting point and details will be arrange after booking.

10. What should we bring with us?

We recommend:
Swimwear & towel
Sunscreen
Hat & sunglasses
Camera

Can we visit restaurants or have lunch during the tour?

Yes, we can organize stops at selected seaside restaurants or suggest great local spots along the route.
Along our routes, there are also two truly outstanding seaside restaurants — Trošt and Fjord — perfect for a special gastronomic experience right by the sea.

Can we see dolphins during the tour?

Yes — and this is one of the most special experiences we offer.
Instead of crowded group tours, we take you to proven dolphin areas at the best time of day — around sunset, when the chances of encountering dolphins are at their highest, although we often spot them during the day as well.

A more intimate, relaxed and natural experience.
No guarantees (they are wild animals), but we maximize your chances.
